Analyzing differences among Copolymer Acetal and Homopolymer Acetal in Sheet or Plate and Round Rod

Homopolymer Acetal or Delrin is the best plastic for turning on a machine lathe. It’s easy to turn, but it requires slower speeds. I use this stuff to make Scottish small pipes chanters. Between the Delrin and Acetal rods, both materials are exceptionally durable and easily machinable, and they have comparable physical properties. They look similar, but in practical use there are a few differences that may make one better than the other. It also depends on your application.
